Do I need to be tech-savvy to do this?
No. In fact, most of the people I work with aren’t.
The whole point of this program is to walk you through Shopify step-by-step so you’re not guessing what to click or where to go.
If you can follow instructions and are willing to give it a go, you’ll be absolutely fine.
Is this a course on how to market or grow my store?
No. From Stuck to Selling is meant for business owners looking to get expert guidance on building their Shopify store properly themselves.
Before you think about ads, marketing, or scaling — you need a store that actually works and is set up correctly.
That’s what this focuses on.
How long will it take to build my store?
It depends on your time: how much and how often you put into it.
My course is designed so you can work through a few lessons at a time — even in the hours after dinner, before bedtime on a school night.
Most people will be able to build their store over just 2-3 weeks if they stay consistent and do a bit everyday.
In total, you'll have three (3) months access to the course materials, from the date you sign up, and any additional resources that get added during that time.
This is plenty of time to work through the short 3-10 minute videos, guided activities and build alongside me.
So there’s no rush — go at your own pace with what you're comfortable with.
What if I get stuck?
You won’t be left to figure it out on your own.
There are clear steps to follow throughout the course, plus optional 1:1 sessions to purchase if you need extra help or want a second set of eyes to talk you through things and keep you on the right track.
We also have an amazing community of like-minded Aussie small business owners of varying levels that you can share ideas, ask for feedback or just get to know and support each other through the process!
If something doesn’t make sense, you have multiple channels for support available.
Can I use this if I already have a Shopify store?
Yes.
If your store feels messy, confusing, or unfinished — this will help you go back and fix things properly.
A lot of people realise they’ve built things in the wrong order. This helps you clean that up.
Keep in mind that the course has been built to demonstrate setting up a store from woah-to-go, so if you've got an existing store, you may be a little further ahead than some.
Do I need a product or business idea before starting?
Ideally, yes, you should have a general idea about what you're selling before you start — but it doesn’t need to be perfect.
The early parts of the course to get clarity around your brand and direction.
Is this instead of hiring a developer?
If you're looking to invest in your skills, build your own store properly and understand the cornerstone of your business, then yes.
The goal is to help you build and understand your own store so you’re not relying on someone else for every small change.
That said, you’ll also understand your store well enough to work with someone later if you choose to.
Why wouldn’t I just hire an agency instead?
You can — but most small business owners I speak to are getting quoted anywhere from $5k–$12k+.
And even after that, they won’t really help you to understand how your store works.
This gives you the same outcome (a properly built store), but you also learn how to manage it yourself.
What makes this different from YouTube tutorials?
